Civil Rights Movement

Adolph Smith is a local town advocate for the “alt right” movement. He believes that the Civil Rights Movement in the United States was finished in the 1970s and now civil rights are available to all. This is important because local businesses are starting to consider Mr. Smith’s position and assertions.  You have decided to write a letter to the editor of your newspaper explaining to Mr. Smith your thoughts on his position. You can use historical information and current information to support your point. The newspaper will not print personal attacks or curse words. You must make your letter profession and well developed. The newspaper is clear that you need to use information to support your position and not merely emotion.  Your letter to the editor should be no less than one full page in length.
